The problem
Millions of people are effectively unreachable.
For someone living with accessibility issues, a smartphone or tablet creates a barrier: Screens are too small, icons unfamiliar, steps too many, language too technical.
The result: families who want to stay close, can't. Not meaningfully or consistently. A video call doesn't connect, or a message goes unread.
"This is great; phones are too small, I can't use them."
Ken's grandfather (the device's namesake)
Our answer
The Ken. State of the art. Simple.
We're keeping people connected to those they love, without the technological barrier - a device designed from the ground up for people who've been left behind by mainstream technology.
We're still building, seeking to create something as perfect as possible. The people working on this understand the problem personally, and our absolute focus is on building a product which is loved by our most discerning customers - not by a product team optimising for bells & whistles, but a smart team designing for function and ease of use - connectivity, first and foremost.
For the person buying it
You get a dashboard, not a hope for the best.
The Ken comes with a dedicated family portal: a management surface built for the person doing the buying, not just the person using the device.
From your phone or computer, you can see call activity, message history, and medication adherence. You can add contacts, update settings, send photos, and set reminders, all without needing to be in the same room.
Daily summary emails tell you what happened: who called, which reminders were acknowledged, whether the device was used at all. You know they're OK without having to ask.
This is the proof of "peace of mind for you." The device is simple for them. The dashboard is built for you.
Safety by design
Approved contacts only. No exceptions.
The Ken only accepts calls and messages from contacts you have approved through the family portal. There is no email, no web browser, no app store, and no way for a stranger to reach your loved one.
This is deliberate. Telephone scams and fraudulent calls targeting people living with accessibility issues are rising every year. The Ken eliminates this entirely: if someone is not on the approved list, they simply cannot make contact. No cold calls. No phishing messages. No exceptions.
You decide who can call and message. You can add or remove contacts remotely at any time. Your loved one sees only the people they know and trust.
A closed system is a safe system. Only faces they recognise, only voices they know.
